The first conference on India Radar Meteorology (iRAD), an initiative of the Ministry of Earth Science (MoES), was held successfully at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur during 08 - 11 January 2017. A series of iRAD conferences were successfully organized thereafter. To foster the growth in radar meteorology, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) is hosting its 7ᵗʰ Conference of iRAD during 05 - 08 January 2025. Young Scientist Award will be presented to three best papers presented in the conference. The participants, who are below 35 years of age and are first authors of the presented paper eligible to apply for the award.
Three awards will be presented to the student participants from universities or research institutions in India. They should be regular or full-time students of any institution and first author of the presented work, to be considered for the award.
